Books as Memorials Support the Library and honor friends and family. Books are a valuable and lasting way to honor someone and contribute to the community as a whole. The Library accepts monetary donations (checks should be made payable to the Friends of the HCPL) to purchase books in honor or memory of an individual or group. Individuals with donations totaling $500 or more will have their name placed on the memorial plaque in the West Lobby. Anyone who donates $500 or more will also have their name placed on a Donor plaque in the West Lobby. To make a donation, download the Memorial Donation Form (MS Word format) or (PDF format). Forms are also available at service desks at each library location. Donation Policy (PDF format) Once the materials are purchased, a book plate will be placed in with the names of the donor and honoree. Thank you for supporting your Library. |
